Our E-File Course is designed for qualified nail technicians looking to refine their skills. Students must hold a Gel Polish certificate. You’ll learn how to safely and confidently use an electric file for prep, removal and refining to improve speed and precision.

Introduction to the electric file
Understanding the electric file machine & setup
Types of electric file bits and their purposes
How to safely use different bits for different services
Salon hygiene, sterilisation & disinfection
Client consultation and nail assessment
Cuticle preparation using the e-file
Safe manicure techniques with the nail drill
Debulking and refining product
Reducing the length of natural nails and extensions
Removal of gel polish, gel extensions and acrylic
Correct control, pressure and speed for safe use
Students must bring their own high quality e-file to this course. If it is not fit for purpose the class will be unable to complete. Drill bits are available to use/buy on the day of class.

Participants must be 16 years or over to complete accredited courses.
Course Information
In the unlikely event a course does not fill the required spaces, it may be rescheduled to a later date. Your deposit can be refunded or moved to the next available date.
Cara Nail Academy reserves the right to change or amend course dates where necessary.
Booking Confirmation
Once your place is secured, you will receive an email confirmation.
One week before the course start date, you will be added to a WhatsApp group to confirm all final details.

Payments & Deposits
Full payment or a 50% deposit is required to secure your space. The remaining balance is due on Day 1 of your course.
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you cannot attend and give notice more than 4 weeks before the start date, you may transfer to the next available course date.
Within 4 weeks of the course start date, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
